About the Car
(Autographed by Youichi Imamura) The A'PEX Japan D1 Grand Prix team and driver Youichi Imamura conquered the 2003 D1 series with an unprecedented series championship victory! With the series championship on the line at Round 7 of the season, top competitors squared off at the famed Tsukuba Circuit raceway. Though temperatures on this cold November morning neared the freezing level, anticipation was high as the 7th and final round of the 2003 season got underway. Known for its ultra technical course design, the D1 layout at Tsukuba proved to be a worthy battle ground for the series finale. Round 7 saw several teams fall victim to the circuit with multiple crashes and disappointing spin outs.
About the Diecast
It scales at 1/24 and nearing 7 inches of unbelieveable details. Comes complete with an extra Vertex body kit, full piping exhaust, aerodynamic mirriors, Racing seats, carbonfiber style wing, difussor, bronze rims and engine details. The cambers are adjustable up to 10 degrees. The car can be lowered/raised and the offset of the wheels can be changed. This Z comes complete with true to life aftermarket accessories so you can dress it from stock to the exact Apex-i D1 Grand Prix Series Champion car.
